1. Data We Collect
We collect company registration data (company name, NIB, address, PIC contact), legal documents (company documents, product certifications), transaction data (orders, bids, invoices, payments, shipments), platform activity data (access logs, user preferences), and communication data from the chat feature and customer support.
2. How We Use Data
Data is used to verify companies and producer legality, process bid, payment, and shipping transactions, facilitate Business Matching programs between businesses, improve platform service quality, send transaction notifications and relevant trade information, and fulfill legal obligations and export-import regulations.
3. Sharing Data with Third Parties
We do not sell user data to third parties. Data may be shared with: logistics partners and forwarders for shipping and export document purposes, payment service providers, certification bodies for product verification, customs authorities and legal institutions when required by regulations, and technology partners to the extent necessary for platform operations.
4. Data Security
We apply SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmission. Sensitive data is stored with encryption. Data access is restricted by user role (RBAC). System security audits are conducted periodically. We comply with data security standards applicable in Indonesia and our export destination partner countries.
5. User Rights
You have the right to: access company data we store, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and related data (except data required to be retained by regulation), and withdraw consent for data use at any time. To submit a request, contact: privacy@crossentrade.com.
6. Cross-Border Data
As an international trade platform, transaction data may be processed on servers located outside Indonesia to support global service operations. We ensure such data transfers are conducted in accordance with applicable data protection provisions and with equivalent security safeguards.
7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Our platform uses cookies to maintain login sessions, analyze platform usage anonymously, and store user preferences such as language and currency. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, but some features such as login sessions may not function optimally.
8. Data Retention
Transaction data is retained for 5 years in accordance with Indonesian tax and customs regulations. Active account data is retained while the account remains active. Deleted account data will be anonymized within 30 days, except data that must be retained for audit or legal purposes.
